Siegfried " Sigi " Roch ( born March 26, 1959 in Wunsiedel ) is a former German handball goalkeeper. He played 16 years for the TV Großwallstadt in the Handball - Bundesliga and is equipped with 533 national and international missions record player TV Großwallstadt, he played for the German national team 38 caps.

Life

Since 1991, Roch holds the record for held seven meter throws in a Bundesliga game. In the match against Cottbus Roch managed to ward seven seven meters. In his career Roch came to 471 Bundesliga appearances, in which he held a total of 344 seven meters.

After his playing career in 1997 was Sigi Roch first full-time manager of the TV Großwallstadt. A native of Wunsiedel Sigi Rochelle is married with Uschi and father of Christina ( * 1987) and Isabell (* 1990).

His daughter Isabell Roch followed in the footsteps of her father. They already belonged to the age of 16 for the Bundesliga squad of the Thüringer HC and two -time German Junior Champion in 2006 and 2007, 2 x National Champion Youth Training for the Olympics in 2006, 2007 and National Youth goalkeeper.

2007 Sigi Roch has earned its B bill for handball coach.
