Sielenwang

The Sielenwang is a mountain on the northern edge of the Swabian Alb.

The summit of Sielenwang is 722 m above sea level. NHN. The mountain on the east by the Fuchseck and to the west by the Kornberg. Many hiking routes lead through the Sielenwang. On the mountain there is also a cottage of the Swabian Alp Association. Also located on the Sielenwang an airfield for small engine and gliders, the Nortel.

The summit of the mountain lies within the boundaries of the municipality Gammelshausen in the district of Göppingen. In many Voralbgemeinden there are streets that bear the name of the mountain. For example, there are in the community Heiningen the Sielenwangstraße.
