Sielun Veljet

Sielun Veljet (German soul brothers ) is a Finnish rock band of the eighties, which in its guitar-based rock music elements of punk and some hard rock currents and very unpolished radio - sometimes with the involvement of influences from the Finnish folklore - almost a bit of the origin anticipated the U.S. grunge music (in particular album L' amourha, 1985).

The group began their collaboration in the early 1980 and broke up after 1991's 3- CD Musta laatikko.

The band initially played in Tampere, even if some members from the eastern Finnish city of Joensuu ( Karelia ) originate. Singer and lyricist Ismo Alanko had previously been there the punk band Hassisen Kone.
