The Siem Reap - Angkor International Airport is the second busiest airport in Cambodia. It is located in Siem Reap, near the Angkor Wat temple complex. Official opening of the new terminal of the airport was on 28 August 2006.

In order not to endanger generated by starting or landing aircraft vibrations, the temple complex is only allowed from / to the southwest, the approach or departure. (Take-offs via Rwy 23, landings via Rwy 05)
