Sierra Kay

Sierra Kay Kusterbeck ( born December 18, 1990 in St. Petersburg, Florida) is an American recording artist and model. She is a singer of the band Versa, which was founded under the name VersaEmerge in 2007 and stood until 2013 at Fueled by Ramen under contract.

Life

Sierra Kay Kusterbeck was born on 18 December 1990 in St. Petersburg in the U.S. state of Florida. She took early as the third grade singing lessons.

Career

Kusterbeck in 2006 took part in an audition to enter as a singer with VersaEmerge. Their contribution was a cover version of the play The Blank Static Scene of the band. While the musicians were undecided whether Kusterbeck fit into the band, guitarist Blake Harnage persuaded the other members and Kusterbeck has been integrated as a singer in the band. At this time she was only 16 years old.

In May 2008 the first EP was released with Kusterbeck as a singer under the title Perceptions. The group was taken by Fueled by Ramen under contract and brought in 2009, named after the band's EP out. On June 22, 2010 finally released their debut album, Fixed at Zero. 2013 ended the contract with the label and the group announced to change her name. Since 2014, the band performs under the name of Versa.

They can be heard on the single Avalon by Professor Green, which was also placed at number 29 on the UK Singles Charts. She was also a guest musician in the play If It Means a Lot to You by A Day to Remember, to hear Contagious by Anarbor and in the play West Coast of Gimme & Gammon.

Since 2011 she has been active as a model. She is the face for the shoe company Payless ShoeSource.
