Sigma Orionis

Sigma Orionis ( σ Orionis, short σ Ori) is about 1150 light years distant system of five stars in the constellation Orion. Its core consists of five stars, which are about 1150 light years away from the Sun.

In the center of Sigma Orionis is a stable binary system with Sigma Orionis and Sigma Orionis A B to move to the irregular orbits the star Sigma Orionis three outer C, Sigma Orionis and Sigma Orionis E D. A and B are only 0.25 arc seconds of each other.
