Signal Corps (United States Army)

The United States Army Signal Corps, the Signal Corps of the U.S. Army. The command of the Signal Corps is located in Fort Gordon, Georgia.

History

The branch of service was founded in 1860. In 1870, the Signal Corps of the National Weather Service. In the early days of aviation were also military airships and the first aircraft to the Signal Corps.
