Sigurd Dæhli

Sigurd Dæhli (* 1953 ) is a former Norwegian orienteering and ski - orienteering.

Dæhli 1977 in Joensuu ahead of Sweden's Rolf Pettersson Nordic champion in orienteering. In the first Norwegian Season with Eystein Weltzien, Egil Johansen and Svein Jacobsen, he won the silver medal. In 1979 he was first at the first official Norwegian Championships in night - orienteering. 1980 and 1982 succeeded the Norwegian season up victories at the Nordic Championships. In ski orienteering Dæhli went at the World Championships 1982 in Austria at the start and was thereby in a single third behind the Finns Pertti Olavi Svanberg and Tikka. With the season he got together with Finn Kinne Berg, gates Sagvolden and Morten Berglia silver behind Sweden. Also reached in the next two World Championships in ski orienteering Norway with Dæhli the podium in 1986 in Bulgaria won the season with Sigurd Dæhli, Lars Lystad, Audun Knutsen and Vidar Benjaminsen gold.

Also took an advanced age and Dæhli continues to participate in orienteering competitions and also won a few times the World Champion title at the veterans. His 1987 born son Magne Dæhli also starts at orientation competitions and won already with the Norwegian junior season a world title.
