Silent Civilian ( German: "Silent Civilian " ) is an American metalcore band from California. It is often also associated with the Thrash Metal. The band was founded in 2004, shortly after the singer Johnny Santos left his previous band Spineshank. The band released two albums to date.

History

On 2 May 2006, the debut album Rebirth of the Temple appeared on the label Mediaskare. The album sold until mid-June 2007 in the U.S., about 25,000 times and got mostly positive reviews. The first single was the title song of the album, which also includes a music video was filmed. In the video, the guest musician Roy Mayorga ( Stone Sour ) and Wayne Static ( Static-X ) can be seen. As a second single they decided on The Song Remains Un - Named, for which also a video was produced. Silent Civilian toured the United States with bands like Kittie, Bring Me The Horizon and It Dies Today. The next single was Live Again.

End of 2007, drummer Chris Mora said his departure from the band. With the follow Ryan Halpert, the group worked together on s successor of their debut album. In March 2009, the public could get a first impression of the new album Ghost Stories, since the first demo song was provided on the Myspace page to listen to.

Johnny Santos, meanwhile, had reconciled with his old band Spineshank and also worked with this already on new songs. On 18 May 2010 Ghost Stories was released via Century Media. The corresponding single is called Last One Standing. Even to this single video was shot.
