Silicone Soul

Silicone Soul is a music project in the field of techno and house, consisting of the two Scots Craig Morrison and Graeme Reedies.

History

Both first played together in the rock band Dead City Radio, later he changed to the area techno and house. They are the founders of the label Darkroom Dubs. Under the title Darkroom Dub Sessions parties also took place in Glasgow. Silicone Soul have already made ​​remixes for artists such as Schatrax, Röyksopp and Roger Sanchez.

At the beginning of 1990 both came with the environment of the group Slam from Glasgow in touch and were taken for the label Soma Recordings under contract. 2000 appeared Silicone Souls debut album "A Soul Thing". The resulting decoupled single " Right On! ", A tribute to Curtis Mayfield, reached the Top 20 on the British charts.

Later they put as resident DJs at Club La Terrazza on in Barcelona.

Their second album, " Staring Into Space " was created together with Louise Marshall, which was heard on the single " Right On! ".
