Sima Xiangru

Sima Xiangru (Chinese司马 相 如/司马 相 如, Pinyin Sīmǎ Xiangru, W.-G. Ssuma Hsiangju ) (* 179 BC; † 117 BC), style name Changqing (Chinese长卿/长卿, W.-G. Changch'ing ), was a Chinese poet and official of the Han Dynasty.

He served only at the court of Emperor Jing of Han, was his office but quickly. At the court of Emperor Jing's brother, the king of Xiao Liang, Sima Xiangru was encouraged and recognized. After his death, he attracted the attention of Han Wudi with the Fu - poem ' Zixu Fu ' (Fu - poem by Meister empty) and became again an official site.
