Sima Zhou

Sima Zhou (Chinese司马 伷) was a general of the Chinese Wei Dynasty to the Three Kingdoms period. He was the sixth son of the famous strategist Sima Yi and his wife Fu (伏). In the Chronicles of the Three Kingdoms by Chen Shou ( 233-279 ), he appears in two places: In the fall of Wei general Cao Mao, he is opposed to the orders of his brother, the regent Sima Zhao, the Emperor, but refuses him even attack. Finally, the Emperor is killed by Cheng Ji officer.

During the great invasion of the Jin Dynasty in the kingdom of Wu Dynasty in 279 Sima Zhou led one of the six wedges of the army on behalf of his nephew Sima Yan, who had the Wei dynasty ended 265 and proclaimed himself Emperor of Jin. Sima Zhou contributed to the capture of the Wu emperor Sun Hao in the spring of 280.
