Simcoe Place
Simcoe Place is a skyscraper in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The building on Front Street reaches a height of 148 meters and has 33 floors. It was completed in 1995 by Carlos A. Ott and NORR. The building is characterized by a late modern architecture. The building was built for as property companies Cadillac Fairview. It was the only major buildings in the mid- 1990s, during the first housing bubble was built in Toronto.
As a special project accompanied Mary Gooderham, a reporter for the newspaper The Globe and Mail, for two years the construction project. There were 110 columns from which you then put together and a book with the title: A Building Goes Up: The Making of a Skyscraper published.
Facilities and tenants
In the hall there are several restaurants and cafes that are open to the public. In the building several companies have rented office space, including:
