Simon Blackburn

Simon Blackburn ( born 1944 ) is a British philosopher who teaches at Cambridge since 2000. Previously, he held a professorship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. From 1969 to 1990 he was a Fellow and lecturer at Pembroke College ( Oxford). He was from 1984 to 1990 the editor of the journal Mind. Blackburn is Vice President of the British Humanist Association.
