The Caracas (Spanish Aeropuerto Internacional de Maiquetia Simón Bolívar, English Simón Bolívar International Airport ) is an international airport in Maiquetia, Venezuela, about 25 km north of the capital Caracas. To get there required depending on traffic about 30 to 60 minutes to the city center (Plaza Venezuela).

The Aeropuerto Maiquetia was inaugurated by the President Isaías Medina Angarita on 1 January 1945.
