Simon Woods

Simon Woods ( born 1980 in England ) is a British actor.

Career

He attended Eton College and studied English at Magdalen College, Oxford. In 2005 he played the role of Charles Bingley, who falls in love with Jane Bennet, who was played by actress Rosamund Pike in the film adaptation of Jane Austen's novel Pride and Prejudice ( Pride and Prejudice ). Ironically, the two were in real life until 2003 a pair. Director Joe Wright praised in an interview the professionalism of the two during the shoot. The German TV viewers, he was known for the role of Octavian in the TV series Rome ( Rome), 2007. That same year, Simon Woods starred in Cranford, a BBC series based on works by Elizabeth Gaskell, with, where he played the young doctor Frank Harrison.

Simon Woods is engaged to fashion designer Christopher Bailey.
