Simone Cristicchi

Simone Cristicchi ( born February 5, 1977 in Rome ) is an Italian singer and songwriter.

Career

Making his first appearance at a tribute concert graduated Cristicchi with just 21 years. In September 2003, he won an award for the new songwriter.

Was released in 2005 his first single Vorrei Cantare Come Biagio, which was a big summer hit.

After two albums, Fabbricante di canzoni (2003) and Dall'altra parte del cancello (2007), he succeeded his final breakthrough after winning the Sanremo Italian Music Competition. A few days later his song Ti regalerò una rosa was played in all the radios in Italy but also in other European countries.
