Sin Dios
Sin Dios ( German: Without God ) was an anarchist hardcore band that was founded in 1988 in Madrid, Spain.
Band History
The band was founded in 1988 with the aim to spread libertarian ideas. The first concerts were therefore held in squats to support various autonomous groups.
Released in 1990 their first album " ... ni Amo " with 13 highly political songs, followed by a tour of Spain.
The following year, their next album " Ruido Anti Capitalista " one year appeared ( Anti-capitalist noise), followed by " Alerta Antifascista " ( Antifascist Vigilance) on it. The latter works are not only texts and commentaries of the band, but also contributions from members of other libertarian movements. After a year of performances, the band split because of " differences " to 1997 ( after a break of 1 ½ years ) to form up again.
It was followed by five more albums, a video, a new bassist and toured in Europe and Latin America.
In 2003, the planned vinyl version of " Odio al Imperio " in Germany because of a song about the Middle East conflict to excitement in parts of the German left-wing scene (especially the anti - German scene - the band was accused of anti-Semitism ). In the following discussions, the views and the vinyl version hardened was not published.
2006 Sin Dios disbanded for personal reasons; the band members put their focus back more on libertarian activities.
