Sinch is an American alternative rock band.

History

Sinch was founded by Jamie Stem (vocals), Tony Lannutti (guitar), Mike Abramson (bass ) and Dan McFarland (drums) in 1994, towards the end of their high school years. In 1996 the first album of the band, The Strychnine, which was produced by the band itself. In the next few years Sinch played numerous concerts, especially in the Philadelphia area. Appeared in 1998 diatribe, which earned them gigs as the opening act for Linkin Park, Korn and Rob Zombie. After they signed a record deal with Roadrunner Records in 2001, 2002, the breakthrough came with the album Sinch, the nearly 100,000 sold worldwide.
