Siplinger Kopf

The Siplinger head is a 1,746 m high mountain in the Allgäu Alps. The rocky Nagelfluhberg is known for its beautiful walls that go down with steeply-pitched Nagelfluhtafeln to the east. North of the Siplinger head is the Siplinger Alpe with beautiful pastures.

On the Siplinger head of marked paths. He can be reached either from the south in the area of Balderschwang or from the north from the valley of Gunzesried. The impressive Siplingernadel, the northeast is located below the summit, is occasionally climbed (IV).
