The Town of Siren is one of 21 Towns in Burnett County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. In 2010, Siren had 936 inhabitants.
Town has a fundamentally different meaning than in other English-speaking area in Wisconsin. Rather, it corresponds to the usual in the other U.S. states townships that make up the next smallest administrative unit of the County.
Geography
The Town of Siren is located in northwest Wisconsin and northeast is drained by the Clam River, a left tributary of the opening into the Mississippi St. Croix River, which forms the border with Minnesota.

Traffic
The Wisconsin State Highway 35 runs north -south through the Town of Siren. The Wisconsin State Highway 70 runs in east-west direction through the Town. Through the Town of Siren runs in a north-south direction with the Gandy Dancer State Trail Rail Trail, designated as a combined walking and bicycle path on the route of a disused railway line. The name of the path goes back to the slang word Gandy Dancer, making a railway worker was called.
With the Burnett County Airport is located on the northern boundary of the Town in the area of Town of Meenon, opposite the Countyverwaltungsgebäude, a small airfield. The nearest major airport is the Minneapolis -Saint Paul International Airport (160 km southwest).
