Siren is a small town ( with a status of "City" ) in Burnett County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. In 2010, Siren had 806 inhabitants.

Geography

Siren is located in a lakeside scenery in northwest Wisconsin, about 30 km east of the border with Minnesota. The geographical coordinates are 45 ° 47'09 Siren " north latitude and 92 ° 22'52 " west longitude. The municipality covers an area of 3.32 km ².

By Siren runs with the Gandy Dancer State Trail Rail Trail designated as a combined walking and bicycle path on the route of a disused railway line. The name of the path goes back to the slang word Gandy Dancer, making a railway worker was called.
