Siron Franco

Siron Franco ( born July 25, 1947 in Cidade de Goiás) is a Brazilian painter, draftsman and sculptor.

Life

Siron Franco comes from a family who lived in poverty and has ten siblings. After childhood and youth in Goiânia he married before moving to São Paulo Goiaci Milhomen. In São Paulo, he worked from 1969 to 1971 because of the Jewish displaced German painter, graphic artist and journalist Walter Lewy, the most important representative of the Brazilian Surrealism. In 1975 he won the International Prize for painting at the São Paulo Biennial, and at 24 ° Salão Nacional de Arte Moderna in the Museu Nacional de Belas Artes the "Premio de viagem ao exterior ", an award for traveling overseas, he 1976-1978 used for stays in Europe.
