Sisqó

Sisqó ( born November 9, 1978 in Baltimore, Maryland; actually: Mark Andrews Althavan ) is an American R & B and pop singer. He is a member of the band Dru Hill, and also a successful solo artist since 1999.

Life

Sisqó has African-American and Native American ancestors.

Sisqó met his later Dru Hill bandmate James " Woody" Green already in middle school. He first visited the Mervo, later the Baltimore City College in Baltimore, where he also met Tamir " Nokio " Ruffin. The band Dru Hill was later hired by Ruffin, named after Druid Hill Park in Baltimore. Soon, Larry "Jazz" Anthony was incorporated.

About his personal life is known that he should have knocked up in 1999 a then 14 - year-old girl in Zurich.

Solo career

In 1998, Sisqó took on a song with Mýa, her single It's All About Me, which reached number 6 in the U.S. charts. In November 1999, the first album by Sisqó, Unleash The Dragon appeared. The second single from the album, Thong Song, was one of his best known hits. With the single Incomplete he made it to the top of the U.S. charts. In 2000, Sisqó sang alongside DMX on the single What These Bitches Want. In the same year, he collaborated with Lil 'Kim together for the song How Many Licks.

His second CD Return Of Dragon was released in June 2001. The first single Dance For Me reached number 6 in the British charts, but overall Return Of Dragon was unable to repeat the success of the first album. In 2002, he took on another album ( Dru World Order ) with Dru Hill, but that flopped. His third solo album, "The Last Dragon" was planned for 2012, but will now be released in summer 2013.
