Planning

Based on the experience with the Sisu A-45 and newer, heavier guns, the Finnish armed forces had recognized that stronger vehicles have become necessary. Sisu - Auto has then decide to start a new moderately difficult terrain truck project.

Production

In the standard model, a more powerful engine with 150 kW was installed with the model name SA- 150th The serial production began in Hämeenlinna in 1982 and the first delivery batch of ten vehicles was handed over to the armed forces in October of the same year.
