Skanstullsbron

Skanstullsbron is a road bridge in the Swedish capital Stockholm. It is located south of the district of Södermalm and spans the Hammarbykanal.

The Skanstullsbron has a length of 574 meters and a bridge vertical clearance of 32 meters, it is thus, together with the adjacent, parallel Johanneshovsbron, the highest bridge in Stockholm. It spans the Skansbron and Kvarnbron two other bridges that are located there. The bridge connecting Södermalm and the shopping street Gotgatan with the district Johanneshov. Construction of the bridge began in 1944 and ended in 1947. The bridge has two lanes in each direction per, as well as on each side of a pedestrian crossing and two tracks on the western edge of the Stockholm metro.
