Johanneshovsbron

Johanneshovsbron is a road bridge in the Swedish capital Stockholm. It is located south of the district of Södermalm and leads over the Hammarbykanal. The opening of the bridge took place on 9 October 1984.

The Johanneshovsbron has a length of 756 meters and a width of 17.90 meters, the bridge headroom is 32.0 meters at mean water level, the average span between the piers is about 51 meters. It spans the Skansbron and Skanstullsbron, two other bridges, which were inaugurated in 1925 respectively 1947. Here are located the Kvarnbron, which was built between 2000 and 2002.

The Johanneshovsbron connects with the Södermalm district Johanneshov, as well as the Riksväg 73, a major arterial road of the city south towards Nynäshamn. The bridge is part of the flow through the center north-south connection that the Söderledstunnelns the Centralbron, extends further north towards the north to the Stockholm ring.
