Skärmarbrink metro station
Skärmarbrink is an aboveground station Stockholm subway. It is located in Johanneshov district. The station is served by the Gröna linjen the Stockholm subway system. The station is one of the more moderate frequented stations of the metro network. On a normal working day rise 6,000 commuters here.
The station was taken on October 1, 1950 under the name Hammarby as 5th Station of Tunnelbana in operation, as the first section of Tunnelbana was inaugurated between Slussen Hökarängen. However, the station received its present name until 1958. The station is located between the stations Hammarbyhöjden ( T17 ) or Blåsut ( T18 ) and Gullmarsplan. Stockholm Central Station is only 4.5 km.
