Skepta
Skepta (born 19 September 1982, real name Joseph Junior Adenuga ) is a British Grime musician.
Biography
In the 2000s Skepta started as a rapper on the radio and in MC Battles. In 2005 he founded with Wiley, Jme his brother and other collective Boy Better Know and the same label. In 2006 he also became a member of Roll Deep.
His first album Greatest Hits (2007) remained without much attention, only with the song Rolex Sweep in September 2008 he had a moderate success. With Sunglasses at Night he had half a year later his first hit in the UK Top 75, but could not managed his second album Microphone Champion in the charts.
The breakthrough had Skepta then in 2010 with the change to the label All Around the World. With Bad Boy, Rescue Me and Cross My Heart ( with the ethnic Indian singer Preeya Kalidas ) he had three Top 40 hits in a row.
