Skyrunner World Series
The Skyrunner World Series (official name since 2003 Buff SkyRunner World Series after the main sponsor, the Spanish company Buff Headwear ) is an annual international discharged Cupwertung in mountain running. It is supported by the Federation for Sport at Altitude; performed (FSA Association for Sport height ).
The six to eight for the championship scoring races will take place in at least five different countries, with at least five races include the Skyrunning features "Vertical Incline " ( vertical slope) and must go beyond 2,000 meters. In the individual race, the respective winner with 100 points, second place with 88, and the third is evaluated with 78 points; total of the rating scale ranges down to 2 points for 40th place in the men and in the women for each 15 of the barrel. To increase the motivation for the overall victory of the race series, the last race of the championship will be assessed at twice the amount of points. The overall victory is additionally doped with € 10,000.
