Slavomir Miklovš

Slavomir Miklovš ( born May 16, 1934 in Djurdjevo ( Backa ), Yugoslavia, now Serbia, † July 21, 2011 in Novi Sad, Serbia) was a bishop of the Greek Catholic Diocese Križevci.

Life

Slavimor Miklovš comes from a Ruthenian family. He attended successfully the traditional high schools in Rijeka and Pazin and then studied theology in Zagreb. On July 7, 1964 he was ordained a priest in his native Djurdjevo. Ibid, he worked as a chaplain in the years 1964 until 1968.

In 1968/69 he worked then as a priest in Djurdjevo. From there he was appointed head of the Episcopal Diocese of the firm Križevci.
