Slavomir Miklovš

Slavomir Miklovš ( born May 16, 1934 in Djurdjevo ( Backa ), Yugoslavia, now Serbia, † July 21, 2011 in Novi Sad, Serbia) was a bishop of the Greek Catholic Diocese Križevci.

Life

Slavimor Miklovš comes from a Ruthenian family. He attended successfully the traditional high schools in Rijeka and Pazin and then studied theology in Zagreb. On July 7, 1964 he was ordained a priest in his native Djurdjevo. Ibid, he worked as a chaplain in the years 1964 until 1968.

In 1968/69 he worked then as a priest in Djurdjevo. From there he was appointed head of the Episcopal Diocese of the firm Križevci. Also since 1969, Miklovš also pastor of the Greek Catholic seminarians at the seminary, and later rector of the Greek Catholic theologian Convention. In 1974, he was also an economist of the diocese Križevci, meaning he was responsible for the church's financial management.
