Slipper Island

Slipper Iceland ( Māori: Whakahau ) is a small island in the Waikato region of the North Island of New Zealand before. It is located in the Pacific Ocean off the east coast of the Coromandel Peninsula, about 8 km southeast of Pauanui. It is the private property of 14 children of Nora and Abe Needham. The guests and tourists staying in the single accommodation, the beach resort and the property of the family. On the island there is a plane landing area.

The smaller islands Penguin and Rabbit Iceland Iceland lie off the southern tip of the island, Watchman rock about 1.5 km west of the island.
