Slitz

Slitz is a Swedish men's magazine. The former music magazine published in Sweden and Finland.

History

Slitz was created in 1980 from the merger of music magazines Schlager and Ritz. First, even a music magazine followed in mid -1990 an editorial realignment to a men's magazine. Was released in 2005 for the first time the offshoot Slitz Man, the increasingly focuses on fashion and clothing. In autumn 2007 's then editor in chief Niklas Natt och Dag announced a further realignment, according to the fewer pictures of naked women and more editorial content to be printed.

As a competitor to the Magazine Café Magazine, Moore Magazine and the Swedish edition of FHM published twelve times a year magazine Slitz reached a circulation of approximately 30,000 copies.

In Slitz several models, and other well-known women were depicted. Among these are names like Victoria Silvstedt, Erika Johnson, Anine Bing or the soccer player Josefine Öqvist. In June 2006 there was a scandal when the meteorologist Tone Bekkestad by the TV channel TV4 was published in the journal. As a result of the photographs they suspended the transmitter.
