Slovak National Gallery

The Slovak National Gallery (Slovak Slovenská Národná galéria, SNG ) is the largest network of art museums in Slovakia. The headquarters is located in Bratislava. It was founded on 29 June 1948.

In the capital, the National Gallery has two exhibition building, the Palais Esterházy ( Esterházyho palác ) and the adjacent water Barracks ( Vodné Kasárne ). Further exhibitions are located in Pezinok ( Gallery of Naive Art ), Ružomberok (gallery Ľudovít Fulla ), Spisská Bela ( Castle Strážky ) and Zvolen ( Castle Zvolen ).
