Slovene alphabet
The Slovene alphabet is a variant of the Latin alphabet for the Slovenian language. It contains 25 letters.
- Č: Č (large), č ( small)
- Š: ä (large), š ( small)
- Ž: Ž (large), ž ( small)
Pronounced they are:
- Č like German ch in " clap "
- Š like German sch in " shame "
- Ž as (French ) g in "garage".
Because you do not transcribed foreign names in Slovenian, but also takes in the original version, or other characters from the Latin alphabet are used - this creates the extended version of the Slovene alphabet. Diacritical characters (such as ä, ö, ü, ç ê, ñ, ø etc. ) just stand in the Slovenian alphabet in order, as if they had any special characters.
