Slug (Rapper)

Slug ( born September 7, 1972 in Minneapolis, Minnesota as Sean Michael Daley ) is an American rapper. He is best known as a member of the hip hop group Atmosphere in which he is actively working with producer Ant since 1994. Also he is known under the name of Seven September. Slug is co-founder of the Minnesota hip- hop label Rhymesayers Entertainment.

Biography

Daley was the son of Valerie and Dylan Sorenson to the world. He received the nickname from his father, who was named Sluggo and therefore his son little Sluggo called. This shortened Daley later to Slug. Before he became famous, he made a lot of music together with the rapper Nic Lehnertz, which was an important factor in his rise in the rap scene after Slugs statement. After finishing school, Nic Lehnertz stopped rapping and Slug teamed up with rapper Spawn and founded the band Atmosphere, in the Slug though initially not rapped but worked as a DJ. The duo collaborated increasingly with producer Ant, who then joined the group.
