The house of the future ( original title: Smart House) is an American science fiction drama film from 1999 directed by LeVar Burton, the screenplay is by William Hudson and Stu Krieger. .
Action and backgrounds
The widowed Nick Cooper alone cares for his children Ben and Angie. The kids win in a competition the system controlled by artificial intelligence house PAT. Nick learns the design engineer of the house Sara Barnes, which is tasked with fixing a number of bugs. He goes out with the woman. Ben PAT programmed so that it creates a like his late mother looking and acting hologram. PAT developed jealousy of the supposed rival.
The film was shot in Los Angeles. It was produced for the company Walt Disney Company.
Ryan Merriman was nominated in 1999 for the Young Star Award. Katie Volding was nominated in 2000 for the Young Artist Award.
