Smertae

The Smertae were a Celtic tribe in northern Scotland, which is only known from Ptolemy's Geographia. From the description of their neighboring tribes suggests that their territory in what is now Sutherland was, but Ptolemy does not mention capital or core area of the trunk. According to Ptolemy they were adjacent to the Cornovii, Lugi and Caereni.
