Smuxi

Smuxi is a free, inspired by irssi and cross-platform IRC client whose target group is the GNOME user interface. He is the pioneer of the concept of separation of front-end and application core that manages the connection to the IRC servers. Both are united in a graphical application.

Architecture

Smuxi based on the client -server model: The core of the application can be executed on a server which is connected around the clock to the Internet.
