Snapping hip syndrome

In coxa saltans ( " snapping hip " ), alternatively called " Amonsche clicky hips ", it is a disease that exists in two versions. In the more common external snapping hip slides a strand of known as iliotibial band portion of the fascia lata, a muscle fascia of the thigh, in too close on the big Umdreher ( greater trochanter ) of the femur. Cause

Symptoms

Therapy

When complaints are recommended for therapy physiotherapy, pain medication orally or local infiltration with local anesthetics. In continuing complaints where appropriate surgical treatment by doubling the muscle fascia or fascia fixation of the greater trochanter must be done.
