In 1997, the most complex album to date, appeared in the Snog story: " Buy me ... I'll change your life". It combines gloomy Electric Parts, country and western references and psychedelics at a very unique sound concoction. For the first time a cover version (Lee Hazlewood 's "Let the Little Flowers Grow ") was presented.

"Third Mall from the Sun" (1999) offered a merger at the same time and further development of the previous two albums: Danceable electro paired with controversial lyrics. This was followed by the remix album "Relax into the abyss ."

In 2003, "Beyond the valley of the proles " which more moderate, song -oriented and mature shows up with Akustitkgitarren and tender ballads. Thrussels influences as Tom Waits, Cabaret Voltaire, Ennio Morricone, Nick Cave and Pink Floyd make itself felt.

With "Adventures in capitalism" was released the first DVD, which includes 13 VidioClips the band's history. Current Album: ". Vs the faecal juggernaut of mass culture" which again appears on Metropolis Records.

A remarkable feature snogs is the concept of texts and the artwork. Almost all the songs cover topics such as anti- capitalism, anti- fascism, anti- consumerism and loss of identity by Western ideals. Thrussells poetry often includes references to conspiracy theories.

The cover artwork of the album "Third Mall from the Sun " (1999), "Relax into the Abyss " (2000) and "Beyond the Valley of the Proles " (2003) were made by Canadian artist Chris Wood and reflect sarcastic manner corporations such as Nike or McDonald's.
