Snorre Pedersen

Snorre Pedersen (born 3 July 1972) is a former Norwegian Skeleton driver.

Snorre Pedersen gave in December 1997 his debut in Skeleton World Cup. In La Plagne, he finished 26th place. In February 1999, he came in ninth in the race of Koenigssee first time under the top ten. He then joined in Altenberg for the first time at a skeleton World Cup and finished in 16th place. In January 2000, he reached on his home track in Lillehammer with the second place his best World Cup result. 2002 started Pedersen at the Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City, where Skeleton for the first time since 1948, olympic again. Pedersen finished in 14th place. Other good results were the seventh place at the 2003 European Championship skeleton in St. Moritz and the tenth place at the Skeleton World Cup in 2003 in Nagano. Three times, from 2003 to 2005, Pedersen was Norwegian champion. In 2005 he ended his active career. At the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin was Pedersen Coach of Desiree Bjerke. He is married to the Swiss Olympic medalist, World and European champion Maya Pedersen - Bieri, which he also coached. Both have a daughter, a second child is currently on the road.
