Snorri Steinn Guðjónsson ( born October 17, 1981 in Reykjavík, Iceland ) is an Icelandic handball player. In the Icelandic national team and the Danish club GOG Håndbold he plays on the position back center of the room.

Playing career

Guðjónsson started playing handball at age six. In 2003, the then 21 -year-old from Icelandic club Valur Reykjavík to the German Bundesliga TV Großwallstadt. Two years later it moved him to league rivals GWD Minden, for which he was also two years as a player. For the 2007 /08 season he wore the jersey of the Danish Association GOG Svendborg TGI. In September 2009 Guðjónsson was committed just before the start of the season from the Rhein -Neckar Löwen. A year later, he joined the Danish first division side AG København. After winning two championships, had AG København in the summer of 2012 to declare bankruptcy, which Snorri Guðjónsson was vertragslos. In October 2012, he signed a contract with the Danish second division club GOG Håndbold. In 2013 he went with GOG on in the highest Danish league. From the summer of 2014 he goes for the French first division Sélestat AHB hunting for goals.

Snorri Guðjónsson played 224 international matches for the Icelandic national team. In summer 2012, he participated in the Olympic Games in London.
