Sofia Essaïdi

Sofia Essaïdi ( born August 6, 1984 in Casablanca ) is a French-Moroccan singer.

Essaïdi active as a singer, composer, author, pianist and percussionist.

From 30 August to 12 December 2003, she participated in the talent show Star Academy channel TF1. Their first album was released in August 2005. It contains a collaboration with several artists, so with Quentin Bachelet ( realization and music) and Chet ( text). An album that was praised by critics and audiences alike in France high.

From January 2009 to January 2010, she played the lead role in the musical Cléopâtre, also 2009, she played the lead role in the TV movie Aïcha.

With her colleagues on stage at Cléopâtre she was honored at the 2009 NRJ Music Awards as " Groupe / Duo / Troupe français de l' année ", in 2010 she won the NRJ Award for French artist of the Year ( Artiste feminine française de l ' année ).
