Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin

Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin ( SSLYBY ) is an American indie rock band from Springfield, Missouri.

History

The members of SSLYBY have already learned in high school. They wanted to create it in the Local Band compartment of the local record store and started without much capital with the samples and recordings.

The first published album Broom was even moved, but still received good reviews. Thus, the band found their way to some smaller stages in the U.S., which record companies were aware of SSLYBY and the album is now routed through Polyvinyl Records, was finally released in Europe. This was followed by performances in Europe, as in June 2007 at the Immergut Festival in Neustrelitz.

Naming

The band is named after the first president of Russia, Boris Yeltsin, named. The idea for the band name was singer Philip Dickey spontaneously when shopping. A problem with the name you saw not, as SSLYBY not wanted to conquer Russia. However, the unconventional name contributed to the success and the band was known about their country's border.
