Son Kite is a successful Swedish Psytrance or Goa project. Masterminds are Sebastian and Marcus Henriksson Mullaert who called the duo in 1996. In addition to her work as Son Kite realize the two in their High -Hat Studio in Malmö, Sweden and other musical ideas, including in their projects Minilogue, Trimatic and Qlap (the latter together with Filip & Fredrik Mårdberg Gilenholt of Ticon ).

History

Sebastian and Marcus Henriksson Mullaert come from different musical backgrounds. While Mullaert learned a classical music education by taking organ, piano and violin lessons and tried various other instruments, Henriksson took over the music of Kraftwerk and Human League his true calling in the techno parties of the 90s. On several parties he showed talent as a DJ and was in southern Sweden is fast becoming the better known, his guild. At one of these parties is met and the two decided to Sebastian's musical knowledge and visions with Marcus ' DJ skills and experience from the music scene to combine. So they called 1996 Son Kite to life.
