Songea District
Songea Urban is one of five districts of the Ruvuma Region in Tanzania. In the north it is bounded by the Songea Rural District, to the east by the Namtumbo district, to the south by Mozambique and eventually the west by the Mbinga district.
The district had 131 336 inhabitants in 2002.
