Songpan County

Sungqu, Chinese: Songpan, (Chinese松潘 县, Pinyin Songpan Xiàn ) is a district of the Autonomous Prefecture of Tibetan and Qiang Ngawa in the north of China's Sichuan province. Its main town is the large village Jin'an (进 安镇). The county has an area of ​​8486 km ² and 70,000 inhabitants ( end of 2006).

The old city wall of Sungqu ( Songpan gu Chengqiang松潘 古 城墙) since 2001 has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 5-386 ).
