Sonic Spinball (roller coaster)
Sonic Spinball Spinball Whizzer until 2009, at Alton Towers ( Alton, Staffordshire, UK) is a spinning roller coaster from the model Xtended SC 2200 the manufacturer Maurer Söhne, which was opened on 27 March 2004.
The course is designed as a great pinball machine, the car represent the balls.
Spinball Whizzer has eight cars. In each car four people can (two rows of two, back to back ) take place. The rotation of the carriage is determined by the number and the weight of the passengers.
Beginning of January 2010 were confirmed rumors of a Neuthematisierung part of the park. From the 2010 season the roller coaster goes under the name Sonic Spinball Sonic named after, a character in the game manufacturer Sega.
