The Sonnenberg is a survey on the high altitudes of the low mountain resin in the unincorporated area of the county resin Goslar in Lower Saxony ( Germany ). It is part of the Upper Harz, Harz National Park is located in the, and consists of the Great Sonnenberg ( 853.4 m above sea level. NN ) and the little sun mountain ( 853 m above sea level. NN ). On it a winter sports area extends.

Geographical location

The northwestern Great Sonnenberg is located about 5 kilometers north of Sankt Andreas Berg. North below its summit is with the settlement Sonnenberg (approx. 780 m) a north-western district of the city Braun situation. About 1 km southeast of the Great Sun Mountain is the only 0.4 m lower Small Sonnenberg.
